BECKY'S COMMENTS: A good way to get your dog used to having his mouth cleaned. These finger brushes are small and soft. You can start your dental program with a finger toothbrush before moving onto a regular toothbrush. Put pet approved toothpaste or gel onto the bristles and gently clean your dog's teeth, using plenty of praise while doing so. Most dogs will accept a finger brush or dental wipes more readily than a toothbrush. This is a good way to calmly work up to a toothbrush for your dog. Keep several on hand, so you don't run out. |
